Teenager Arrested on Drug Charges in Eureka

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM)- At around 6 P.M. Tuesday night, special agents with the Humboldt County Drug Task Force arrested 18 year-old Giovani Ramirez of Eureka

Ramirez was arrested on the 1300 block of 10th street after agents found 1.5 pounds of heroin, 2 ounces of methamphetamine, and eleven grams of cocaine hidden in a compartment of his vehicle.

Agents then searched his residence on the 1800 block of 3rd street in Eureka and located an additional ounce of heroin and items associated with narcotic sales.

Ramirez was booked into jail on suspicion of possession and transportation of controlled substances and possession of a false compartment within a vehicle.
