Uplift Eureka Program is Helping the Homeless

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM)- The City of Eureka expands its efforts to address and prevent homelessness.

Eureka community services department has created the “Uplift Eureka” program to support homeless community members. They provide housing assistance, job skills training, employment workshops, and support services. This program has so far helped 38 people become permanently housed, and 127 people find employment.
