City of Eureka Looking To Apply For Reality TV Show

Eureka, Ca. (KIEM)– The City of Eureka is looking to revamp the town with the help of a reality TV show.

The city announced Tuesday they will be submitting an application for HGTV’s new show ‘Home Town Takeover’, which should take to the air in 2021.

The show applications are requesting communities with less than forty-thousand resident that are unique, have a passionate local community, and historic buildings and architecture that are in need of renovation and restoration.

The city will need to submit a video that showcases the homes, businesses, and public areas that are in need of a makeover.
