Two Men Arrested for Stolen Boat

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM)- Two men are arrested after they were possession of a stolen boat in Eureka. Police say, an aluminum boat was stolen on Saturday from the public marina.

Then on Sunday, the owner saw two men paddling his boat to Daby Island. The men are identified as 29 year old Shane Green, and 22-year-old Christopher Crismon.

They made it to the island but lost an oar and then tried to flee on foot Police captured the two men on the island and took them into custody. Both Green and Crismon were transported to jail and charged for possession of the stolen boat.
