Employment in Humboldt County Increases Dramatically

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Ca. (KIEM) -Humboldt County has seen a positive increase in employment.

In the past year, civilian unemployment has dropped by a whopping 13.6%.

This puts our county’s unemployment rate lower than both the California and nationwide average.

The fastest growing industries in Humboldt County over the past year have been in construction, federal government, information and financial activities.
