The New Joint Agency Fugitive Apprehension Team Arrests Warrant Suspects

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Ca. (KIEM) – Thanks to funding and a new apprehension team, four warrant suspects are behind bars.

The Joint Agency Fugitive Apprehension team was created to locate alleged offenders who have a warrant out for their arrest.

The goal is to conduct a “warrant sweep operation” every one or two weeks throughout the county. The J.A.F.A team incorporates all of Humboldt County’s law enforcement agencies.

In the second operation. J.A.F.A arrested five warrant suspects.

39-year-old Jesse Hanson was arrested on two felony warrants for narcotic sales and probation violation. He was also arrested for possession of 21 grams of heroin.

32-year-old Amanda Brown was arrested for driving without a license and possession of methamphetamine for sale.

38-year-old Charles Wentworth was arrested on a felony warrant for narcotic sales, possession of a controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia.

42-year-old Sarah Voight was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

27-year-old Judith White was cited and released on an infraction warrant for petty theft.

The J.A.F.A team will be increasing their efforts and will be working all around the county to locate persons with warrants.
