The Humboldt Area Foundation receives $250,000 Health Grant

BAYSIDE, Ca. (KIEM) – The California Wellness Foundation has awarded H.A.F. with $250,000 over three years to support them in addressing health inequities in the tri-county area.

It includes funding for re-granting to local non-profits, community planning, and support for racial equity initiatives.

The grant also includes $90,000 dollars to support charities that address health inequities, particularly among native communities, seniors, and youth.
