CSU San Marcos Loses Federal Lawsuit due to Unconstitutional Discrimination

SAN DIEGO, Ca. (KIEM) – A federal lawsuit against California State University San Marcos ended today after the University agreed to revise student fees and pay more than $240,000 dollars.

Federal courts ruled that the University Unconstitutionally discriminated against views that the University did not favor.

The lawsuit, Apodaca v. White, showed that the University used funding to fund pro-abortion events while preventing pro-life events.

The Gender Equity Center and L.G.B.Q.T.A. pride center received nearly $300,000 dollars- compared to less than $6,000 distributed to all 100 other student groups.
