Safety And Traffic Meeting Discusses Oak and F Street Concerns

Eureka, Ca. (KIEM)– Tuesday night, residents were voicing their concerns regarding a busy Eureka intersection

Rex Bohn and Public Works put on a safety and traffic meeting to discuss an unsafe intersection.

Oak and F Street in Eureka has seen an increase in motorists driving at high rates of speed and has been the site of several crashes. Grant Elementary School is located just a block away from the intersection.

Residents voiced their frustrations at the lack of attention this intersection has received and now they are demanding something be done before another accident or something worse happens.

According to Public Works, they are currently looking at different options for funding but believes a stop light is what is necessary for the intersection.
