Two Men Arrested in Eureka on Drug Charges

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – Two Eureka men are arrested on drug charges.

The Eureka Police Department’s pop unit served a search warrant at around 9 Wednesday morning at an apartment on the 100 block of West Hawthorne Street.

Police say detectives entered the apartment and located 41 year-old Frank Sandoval who was injecting heroin. He also had a concealed dagger.

36 year-old Brett Demassy was also in the apartment. Detectives found 40 grams of heroin, a gram of meth, and drug paraphernalia, as well as a large amount of cash.

Demassey was arrested on drug charges and a warrant for D.U.I.

Sandoval was taken into custody on drug and weapons charges.
