Arcata Fire District Receives Thin Red Line Artwork

McKinleyville, Ca. (KIEM) — The Arcata Fire District is thanking Les Schwab tires after a recent donation. An employee from Les Schwab, Chad, donated a thin red line piece of artwork.

He says that he got the piece from an auction dinner put on by Les Schwab and he immediately knew that he wanted to give it to the fire district.

The thin red line represents support and respect for those fallen firefighters that have lost their lives on the job. Arcata fire shared a photo of the art piece to their Facebook page.

It will now be displayed at their McKinleyville headquarters. The Arcata Fire District wants to thank the community for their continued support.
