ARCATA, Ca. (KIEM) – Humboldt State University faculty, students, staff and administrators are participating in moving beyond bias training.
H.S.U. is joining campuses across C.S.U and U.C. college systems. The program is designed to examine and address biases on campus.
It aims to raise awareness, apply key concepts for organizational change, learn tools and strategies, and practice interventions.
Everything from the science of bias to the impact of bias on university life will be addressed.
Participants were chosen through a nomination process and represent more than 20 academic departments.
