Car Crashes in to the Eureka Slough

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – A Solo Crash Results with a Van into the Water in Eureka.

 It happened at around 2:40 Friday afternoon on northbound 101 near the chevron gas station.

The van for unknown reasons went off the roadway and into the slough. The driver was helped out of the vehicle and it is not known if there were any injuries.

Eureka police responded and a tow truck removed the van from the water.
