Residents Flock to Ferndale for Winter Poultry Showcase

FERNDALE, Ca. (KIEM) – Humboldt County residents flocked to the Ferndale Fairgrounds on Saturday for the annual Winter Poultry Showcase.

Finally, a place to showcase all those beautiful birds from chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese, and pigeons.

This event brings in new and exotic birds each year, and most that you’ll never see under normal circumstances.

The birds have very specific criteria that they’re judged upon to see who comes out on top!

The judge’s decision has already been made, but its top secret until the award ceremony.
