Double Homicide Suspect arrested

CRESCENT CITY, Ca. (KIEM) – A Del Norte County man wanted for murdering his parents was arrested in Crescent City.

40 year-old Casey Potter was located at a bus stop at the intersection of Highway 101 and Front Street. He was taken into custody with the assistance of the Crescent City Police Department. Potter was reportedly found with a loaded firearm.

His parents, 77-year-old Brian Potter and 71-year-old Sherrie Potter, were found deceased Sunday at a residence on Lesina Road in Crescent City.

Potter’s bail is set at one million dollars.
