Eureka woman accused of killing her son pleads not guilty

EUREKA, Ca (KIEM)- A Eureka woman who police say fatally shot her teenage son pled not guilty to involuntary manslaughter.

38 year-old Pamela Millsap made her first appearance Friday at the Humboldt County Courthouse in Eureka.

Police responded to a residence on the 2200 block of Union Street Tuesday night for a disturbance. When they arrived, they located Millsap’s 17 year-old son with a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital where he later died.

Millsap is scheduled back in court on March 4.
