Elections Office Extending Hours Ahead of Election Day

Eureka, Ca. (KIEM) — The March primary election is just four days away, and the Humboldt County Office of Elections wants to make sure everyone has a chance to cast their vote. Pre-voting is already underway, and vote by mail ballots already received.

The elections office understands not everyone has the time or can get away from work to vote on Tuesday. They will have extended hours Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm to help accommodate those people.

California also allows voters to register to vote or change their party affiliation on the day of the election. Registration can be completed at any of the polling locations in the county.

If you haven’t registered to vote yet, or you want to vote before Election Day, the elections office will be open Saturday from 10-4.
