How Food for People Plans on Moving Forward After Sewage Incident

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM)- Due to a sewage malfunction that occured last Friday at the warehouse for Food for People, they will be temporarily shut down.

Over 30 thousand dollars worth of food was contaminated due to water damage.

Since Friday, Food For People has received over 12 thousand dollars to help assist them during this time. All of this was from donations from the community.

The Food Bank will reopen when the Health Department deems it to be safe
