Residents asked to call 911 only for emergencies

EUREKA, Ca (KIEM)-Humboldt County Emergency Services wants to remind residents to reserve 911 calls for true emergencies.

There has been a large influx of calls about Covid-19 which take time and resources from emergency calls.

You should only call 911 if you are reporting a life-threatening emergency so that phone lines can be kept open for other people.
