Alchemy Distillery Makes Hand Crafted Hand Sanitizer

ARCATA, Ca. (KIEM)– With current issues of Covid-19 circulating the world one local distillery is helping to make their community cleaner. Alchemy Distillery in Arcata recently had a local hospital reach out to them to make hand sanitizer.

The rye for the sanitizer was donated from Adam’s Grain in Woodland, CA. The sanitizer will also compose of glycerol, hydrogen peroxide and boiled water.

Co- Owner Amy Bohner says that the sanitizer will be made for workers who are actively working in the community. Such as, First Responders, Medical Personal, and Restaurant workers.
