4 arrested at Eureka hotel on drug charges

EUREKA, Ca (KIEM)-Four people are arrested on drug charges at a Eureka hotel.

Eureka detectives with the problem-oriented policing team and the Humboldt County Drug Task Force served a warrant in a hotel room on the 42-hundred block of Broadway after a multi-week narcotics investigation.

Detectives seized 19 grams of heroin, 20 grams of methamphetamine, scales, and paraphernalia.

Four adults were arrested and two children were also in the room at the time. 46-year-old Michelle Odjickwas arrested for possession of heroin for sale. 42-year-old Shaunah Sovereign was arrested for possession of heroin and meth for sale, possession of paraphernalia, and child endangerment. 52-year-old Theodore Kellerman was arrested for heroin and paraphernalia possession.

Due to the Covid-19 crisis, the suspects were cited and released at the scene. the children have been taken into protective custody.
