Northwood Auto Plaza is selling vehicles remotely

EUREKA, Ca (KIEM) – While many businesses are closing due to COVID-19, most car dealerships are not. Northwood Auto Plaza in Eureka is open, but has reduced its hours. They are taking extra safety precautions as they keep face to face meetings to a minimum.

Only one door of the sales office remains open as they work to maintain a sanitized office.Aside from the paperwork process, about 98% of the vehicle purchasing process is done remotely.

As far as test driving goes, a customer’s driver’s license and insurance copy is kept while they take their desired vehicle for a limited drive. And the service department, is still holding regular hours.

While Northwood has seen less foot traffic at its location, they continue to serve the community remotely.
