Fortuna Parks and Recreation makes temporary changes to parks amid Covid-19

FORTUNA, Ca. (KIEM)- As of Tuesday at midnight Rohner and Newburg Park no longer have park amenities available for Fortuna residents. The playground equipment, basketball hoops and gazebo are all off limits. The county Health Department stated that people can still walk around the parks, but for the hundreds of people that visit, social distancing is a must.

Workers are doing their part by keeping the facilities clean. Hydrogen peroxide is used to clean  the bathrooms and other park amenities.
