Local Schools Continue Online Learning for Remainder of School Year

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Ca. (KIEM)- The Humboldt County Office of Education is following the recommendation of state and local officials to extend distance learning for the rest of the academic year.

This follows the governor and public health’s recommendation to close schools to slow the spread of the Coronavirus.

The Humboldt County Office of Education and local school districts have worked closely with Doctor Teresa Frankovich who is the county health officer.

Local school districts will announce their plans for distance learning to parents and children directly.
