Reader Boards on local roads for Covid-19

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Ca (KIEM) – Under the direction of Sheriff Honsal, reader boards have been placed on Humboldt County Highways. 101 northbound at Benbow, 101 southbound above Trinidad and westbound in Willow Creek on the 299.

The county is letting travelers know we are under a local emergency and proving a number to call 24/7 saying no place to stay if you are not providing services.

District 1 Supervisor Rex Bohn personally dropped off the Benbow reader board Thursday night and would like to thank Deputies Steele and Moore for delivering the others. Bohn says this is for the safety of all.
