EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM)- While North Coast residents are sheltering in place, animals at the Sequoia Park Zoo are taking this time to roam around their surroundings.

Staff at the zoo are doing their efforts to keep animals entertained and safe during the Covid-19 outbreak. Social media is now a way for residents to see animals and catch up with them during this time.

While the zoo is closed, employees are taking animals outside of their homes for a walk around the zoo grounds. Its an opportunity for the animals to meet other animals and see other surroundings.
