Youth Conservation Corps jobs available at Redwood National and State Parks

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Ca (KIEM)-Local youth 15 to 18 years-old can apply for summer jobs at the Redwood National and State Parks through the youth Conservation Corps.

The eight-week program runs from June 22 to August 14th and pays $13 per hour.

Five young men and Five young women will be selected from Humboldt and Del Norte county by a public drawing.

The projects can include: construction of trails, removal of invasive plants, and assisting burn managers, hydrologists, and fishery biologists.
