Cares Act Helps to Fund North Coast Health Centers

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM)- North Coast Health Centers are receiving federal funding through the Cares Act to help in the fight against Covid-19.

Representative Huffman is supportive of the congressional act which will help California’s Second District. Open door community health centers in Arcata will be receiving nearly $1.5 million dollars.

Redwoods Rural Health in Redway will receive nearly $610,000 and Southern trinity health in mad river will receive nearly $580,000

Many constituents of the Second District rely on community health centers and the increased funding will be helpful in ensuring the well being of residents.
