Cali the Fire Dog turns 10

Eureka, Ca (KIEM)-A four-legged member of Humboldt Bay Fire is celebrating her birthday.

Cali turned 10 years-old Friday. That is 70 years-old in dog years. She recently recovered from a cancer surgery that garnered great community support and is feeling much better.

Cali the Fire Dog teaches local students about fire safety and this week, she educated local second graders through online videos. They have learned how to stop drop and roll and crawl under smoke.

Cali is having a great birthday and spent it eating delicious treats.
