Humboldt County Census Response Up 5% – Update and Leave Program Postponed

41.9% of Humboldt County has responded to the 20-20 census. That is up 5% from just one week ago. As of today the national average of response is 49.8%.

For rural areas, the Update and Leave program has been postponed until June 1st. Census takers drop off invitations to respond and paper questionnaires are left at the front doors of those who do not receive mail at home.

Arcata Response Rate – 51.4%

Eureka Response Rate – 49.8%

Fortuna Response Rate – 50.5%
