Hoopa Valley distributes food boxes

Hoopa Valley, Ca (KIEM) – After already distributing 350 food boxes to community members, the Hoopa Valley Tribe plans to distribute 500 more per month, for the next few months.

The food distributions have been made possible by the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program, the Food Distribution program and the USDA.

The boxes will be delivered at three different locations around Hoopa Valley, and officials ask that community members visit the location closest to your residence.

If you are unable to make it to a distribution location, Hoopa Valley asks that you call their hotline number, (530) 625-8100, for delivery assistance.
