CDC releases facial covering procedures

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, CA (KIEM) – In an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention released proper procedures when wearing a cloth face mask.

Make sure the cloth mask is easy or comfortable to breathe through.

Where it at all times when out in public.

Make sure the mask covers your nose and your mouth.

And always wash it after using it.

Also, do not allow children under the age of two to wear cloth face masks.

And prevent using surgical masks or other personal protective equipment intended for healthcare workers
