Man Recovering After Being Physically Assaulted, Stabbed in the Neck

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – A 20 year old man is recovering after he was stabbed in Eureka.

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office responded just after 11p.m. Tuesday night to the 4000 Block of Walnut Drive.

According to the sheriff’s office, the male suspect approached the victim and after a brief exchange, physically assaulted and stabbed the victim in the neck.

The suspect then fled on foot.

He is described as a Hispanic or White Male adult, 5’6”, with a stocky build and black hair.

The victim was treated for non-life threatening wounds at the scene.
