18 people removed from vacant Eureka building for trespassing

EUREKA, Ca (KIEM)-18 trespassers are removed from a vacant eureka home after complaints from business owners and residents of drugs, and prostitution.

The owner of the property located on the 1200 block of Fourth Street, lives out of the area and has never rented out the location.

The house was trashed and officers from the Eureka Police POP team found hundreds of needles and a bicycle that had been previously reported stolen.

EPD said 10 of the 18 trespassers were on probation and six had warrants. Due to the pandemic, they were advised on the warrants and released.
