Governor Newsom to begin easing some COIVD-19 restrictions this week

SACRAMENTO, Ca (KIEM)-Governor Gavin Newsom said Monday that California is on track to begin easing some coronavirus-triggered restrictions later this week

The move into the state’s second reopening stage is expected to happen Friday.

It will be gradual and will only apply to certain industries, including bookstores, clothing shops, florists and sporting goods stores, which can resume operations with curbside pickup.

Offices, seated dining at restaurants and shopping malls are not included.
