Log cabin diner in compliance, open for take-out or delivery only

KLAMATH, Ca. (KIEM)-The owners of a Klamath diner who in a defiant move opened for dine-in patrons is now in compliance and is still open for business only now there is no dine-in option.

As you see in the photo the Klamath diner is no longer serving patrons inside.

Tables are now outside, spaced out to meet the requirements set by government officials.

The diner is now only offering take-out or delivery.

According to co-owner Sherry Scott the documents delivered from the Yurok Tribe and Del Norte County were not cease and desist orders but rather warnings or violations for the business for allowing patrons to dine-in without social distancing or using face coverings.

Scott says Tribal police came by the restaurant to hand-out citations but decided against it because the business was in compliance.
