Racist graffiti found in Eureka

EUREKA, Ca (KIEM) – Racist graffiti was spotted at two different Eureka locations earlier this week.

The first graffiti was found on the side of a building at Highland Park, but was quickly removed on Wednesday.

And the second found graffiti was written on the side of a fence near Fairfield and Henderson Street. By the time Eureka Police Department responded, the owner of the property had the graffiti removed.

Police Chief Steve Watson said hate has no place in our community.
