Warrant served at illegal Redway Cannabis site

REDWAY, Ca (KIEM)- The Humboldt County Sheriff’s office marijuana enforcement team serves a warrant on Friday to an illegal cannabis cultivation site in Redway.

One parcel in the area of Par Avenue was investigated for not possessing the required county permit and state licensing to grow commercially.

Deputies located and eradicated over 870 plants during the service of the warrant. Assisting agencies found commercial cannabis ordinance violations–as well as electrical code violations.

No arrests were made and the case remains under investigation.
