Overturned Forklift Accident on Alderpoint Road Causes Diesel Spilling

ALDERPOINT, Ca. (KIENM)- A trailer carrying a forklift detaches from a truck causing the forklift to overturn spilling diesel onto Alderpoint road in southern Humboldt.

it happened just before 1:30 pm east of Dyersville Loop Road. The California highway patrol said 41 year old Joshua Young of Blocksberg was driving a Ford F650 truck, when for unknown reasons, the trailer detached from the truck.

There was one way controlled traffic for five hours as crews cleaned up the diesel from the roadway, Young was uninjured in the crash.
