Cooperation Humboldt Creates Mini Gardens for Residents

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM)- A local organization is making a difference by providing mini gardens to residents. Cooperation Humboldt has supplied over 30 gardens since the pandemic first started and plans on making more.

The mini garden project is given to residents that have been impacted by Covid-19. Volunteers come to their homes and plant the gardens. Workers wear masks and make sure to social distance from the residents.

The gardens consist of a variety of foods such as lettuce, strawberries, and squash.
