Deputies Locate Over 1100 Growing Cannabis Plants in Honeydew

HONEYDEW, Ca. (KIEM)- Deputies with the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement team locate over 1100 growing cannabis plants in Honeydew.

Deputies and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife served a search warrant on the 6000 block of Wilder Ridge Road after numerous complaints from residents.

Three parcels on the property did not meet the required permit and state license to grow commercially.

The following violations include, nine water diversion violations, commercial cannabis ordinance violations, electrical code violations, and open sewage violations.

No arrests were made.
