Hoopa Valley Reservation Closures Continue Amid Covid-19

HOOPA, Ca. (KIEM) – The Hoopa Valley Tribal Office of Emergency Services has decided to maintain the reservation closure.

Non-residents and tourists visiting the Hoopa Valley Reservation are not permitted.

As well as, people outside the reservation river access nor access to tribal property during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Non-residents can be cited and escorted off the reservation.

However, the Hoopa Valley Tribal OES plans to continually assess the Covid pandemic situation and make moves towards reopening once deemed appropriate to do so.
