4 New Covid-19 Cases Confirmed in Humboldt County, Including 2 More Residents from Alder Bay

Humboldt County, Ca. (KIEM) — The Public Health Department confirmed 4 new Covid-19 cases in Humboldt County Friday, bringing the total to 72.

Two of the cases are residents at Alder Bay Assisted Living in Eureka, one is a contact to a different known case, and the fourth is under investigation.

The rate of confirmed cases in the county stands at 51 per 100,000 residents. Ten cases have been reported in Northern Humboldt, 59 in the greater Humboldt Bay Area, and 3 in Southern Humboldt.

45-percent of cases are men and 55-percent are female. The mean age is 48.
