Eureka, Ca. (KIEM) — Birthdays look a little different right now amid Covid-19, but for one little girl in eureka, her family was able to surprise her with a birthday parade all with the help of Humboldt Bay Fire and Pacific Towing.
Despite Covid-19 and the shelter in place order, her family still wanted to find a way to celebrate. So, her grandmother Liz Miller started making some calls. On top of Humboldt Bay Fire and a few of their neighbors, pacific towing drove by with three of their tow trucks all honking their horns for Madeline.
This is Madeline’s last birthday as an only child. She’s set to become a big sister in just a few weeks. Her grandmother Liz has loved seeing the community come together during this difficult time for all sorts of different celebrations and wanted to do the same for Madeline.
