HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Ca. (KIEM)-Over $13,000,000 is coming to the North Coast to help with forest and water resource projects and its all thanks to the north coast resource partnership.
Working with Humboldt County representatives, funding for the projects come from the Department of Water Resources, and the California Climate Investments Cap and Trade Revenues. It will help improve water security, enhance stream habits, improve forest health, and increase fire resiliency.
the NCRP has provided over $85,000,000 in funding to the North Coast for these safety projects.
