2020 Humboldt County Fair cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns

FERNDALE, Ca (KIEM)-the long tradition in the cream city won’t happen this summer. The 124th annual Humboldt County Fair is canceled due to concerns about public health amid the COVID-19 virus.

This means horse racing and the junior livestock auction also won’t happen. The committee will continue to help the youth showcase and sell their 2020 livestock projects.

Information on how to purchase livestock will be provided to the public in the upcoming weeks.

The fair’s board of directors are looking forward to host the county fair next year.
