Eureka Police Investigating Suspicious Death of Elderly Eureka Man

Eureka, Ca. (KIEM) — Law enforcement are conducting a homicide investigation after a Eureka man was found dead inside of his home.

Just after 7:30 Wednesday night, Eureka Police responded to the 4000 block of Campton Road for a report of a man found deceased alone in the residence. According to EPD, it was immediately clear the death was suspicious. Detectives and evidence technicians processed the scene.

The man has been identified as 84-year-old Roger Mitchell Clark, more commonly known as Mitch. No suspect has been identified at this time. Anyone who has had contact with Mitch recently or has information related to the investigation is urged to call Eureka Police.
