HCDTF Arrests Previously Convicted Felon for Narcotics Violations

Hoopa, Ca. (KIEM) — A previously convicted felon living in Hoopa is raided by the Humboldt County Drug Task Force.

According to law enforcement, they received numerous complaints from nearby residents, and a warrant was secured for a residence owned by 40-year-old Joshua Salinas on Moon Lane. Special agents detained multiple people upon arriving at the location.

The HCDTF says during the search approximately 15 grams of heroin, 8 grams of methamphetamine, digital sales, and over $4,000 were found. The residence was found littered with needles and other drug paraphernalia.

Salinas was booked into jail for narcotics and weapons violations, and three outstanding warrants.
