National Emergency Medical Service Week

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Ca. (KIEM) – EMT workers are on the front lines every day helping people who need it the most.

This year has been especially trying with the extra demand created by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Humboldt Bay Fire EMT and paramedics provide emergency medical services on 60-percent of calls made to the fire station- that’s over 4,000 calls every year.
