Humboldt State student-athlete receives CCAA Hometown Hero Award

EUREKA, Ca (KIEM) – Humboldt State Track & Field student-athlete Daniel LaBelle is the recent recipient of the CCAA Hometown Hero Award.

After experiencing the suspension of his final collegiate season, LaBelle turned his free time into helping a local hospital as the community fights against COVID-19.

LaBelle serves as a temperature taker for patients entering the emergency room at St. Joseph Hospital in Eureka.

With student-athlete experience under his belt, LaBelle is also encouraging those around him to stay active and healthy during this time.
